Our Welcome Statement, below was revised and approved in 2021 by the congregation.
Following the example of Jesus, we celebrate the sacred worth and dignity of all persons. Whatever your race, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital or relationship status, physical or mental ability, economic circumstance, political persuasion, faith background, age, history, or station in life, we welcome you. We honor diversity with the conviction that each individual part strengthens the whole.
We commit to confront racism by dismantling oppressive systems, practices, and ideologies of White supremacy in ourselves, our church, and our community. We commit to repentance toward all marginalized people for the damage done in the name of Christianity.
We practice radical hospitality for all, and invite you to bring your authentic self, your gifts, pain, doubt and hope as together we learn, live and tell the story of God’s grace.

We celebrate the tapestry of cultures and ethnicities that make up our community and our world, seeking to be a place where all feel they truly belong.

As an RIC congregation, we fully include LGBTQ+ individuals in all aspects of our life and leadership, celebrating their lives and relationships.

Reconciling in Christ (RIC)
Christ the King is proud to be part of Reconciling Works, a ministry that advocates for the full inclusion of LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities in all aspects of the church's life.
